New Academic Integrity Platform
The Academic Technology Committee (ATC) made a near unanimous decision in recommending Copyleaks to the Office of Instruction for the new academic integrity software solution for use within Canvas. Copyleaks will replace Unicheck during the Summer 2024 semester. Questions? Please contact tmi@825255.com.
New Quizzes Pilot
TMI is currently facilitating a small scale pilot of New Quizzes for Canvas with a group of faculty volunteers. New Quizzes is expected to be available for all faculty for the Summer 2024 semester and beyond on an opt-in basis. Questions? Please contact tmi@825255.com.
Discussions/Announcements Redesign
Visual interface and feature improvements are coming in the Summer of 2024 (July 20th) to both Discussions and Announcements as noted below:
- The toolbar will be moved to the top for both tools.
- Newest replies will display at the top of the first page.
- Users will be able to sort replies from newest to oldest, or oldest to newest.
- Users will be able to quickly move to the top of the discussion or announcement.

Lucid Education Suite & Canvas
Beginning in the Summer of 2024, Canvas users will have access to the Lucid Education Suite within Canvas, at no additional cost. The Lucid Education Suite comprises Lucidspark, a collaborative virtual whiteboard and Lucidchart, an intelligent diagramming application. Read more...
